Four Places Where You Might Want to Use Line Marking Paint to Mark Out Spaces, Lines and Areas

Posted on by

While you may most commonly think of line marking paint as being used for road markings, for example to show where lanes begin and end and where parking is an isn’t acceptable, there are actually plenty of other times when you may want to privately hire some line marking equipment and buy some line marking paint Line marking can be done on tarmac, grass, or just about any other ground surface, and can be very useful in a number of situations. Here we look at four such places:

School Playground

School playgrounds often have to double up as courts for various different games and sports, from netball and volleyball through to tennis, so good line marking will allow players to clearly see, whatever game they are playing, where the different areas of the court are. For younger kids, things like hopscotch can be marked out to allow for the kids to play these games spontaneously at play time. You can even be inventive and create new games by marking out different shapes and targets on the space you have to work with as a kids’ playground.  Kids are great at making up games so you could even ask them for ideas first.

Office Car Park

If your office has a car park that isn’t line marked then parking can get pretty scrappy and you will find that people don’t make the best use of the space. Line marking here will allow you to keep the parking orderly and you can even mark out reserved spots for visitors or company VIPs.

Sports Field

An ordinary field can be turned into a football or rugby pitch with the help of some line marking equipment, and this should need to be refreshed regularly as grass grows and is mown. A good sports field will need to be re-marked every few weeks, especially in summer. If the field is used for different sports then the mowing and repainting may need to be done even more regularly so the markings for the respective sport are always the ones visible.

Events

Events like street fairs, festivals, car boot sales and markets can use line marking to make different pitches clear, tell people where to go for things, and for parking. If you have a special planned event coming up you can really make things look more organised and professional and help your attendees with road markings like this.
