Jay-Z recently had an interview in Cigar Aficionado magazine where he had this to say:“Obama represents so much hope for blacks and Latinos. The hope he represents is bigger than any of the huge problems he could possibly correct,” he said. “When you have positive role models, you can change your life for the better. The day Obama got elected, the gangsta became less relevant.”

The ultimate magazine for the sneaker freaks is none other than Sneaker Freaker. I don't even know if i should call this a magazine, a book, or a manual for some, lol, but its all about sneakers. Issue 15 features a cool glow in the dark cover thanks to the bottom of Kanye's Yeezy's. This issue is limited and won't be available in stores, sorry kids. Pre order it at Sneaker Freaker.

Metro PCS

Now if this isn't one of the smartest company developed in the past 10 years, then I need to go back to Pre-K. I presume everyone has heard of this company unless you've been living under Mount Everest, if you haven't, Metro PCS is a company that offers unlimited texting, and calling for $40 a month and with no contracts. No, that's not a typo! They even have a touch screen phone with free web, and emailing for $50 a month.This company has so much room for growth its ridiculous. My only problem with the company are the phones they use. In today's society a person is portrayed by the things they own, and one of the most important item a person needs is a cool phone. I know this is a materialistic way to look at things, but lets be realistic if a company wants to make the greatest profit they have to go with trends in order to maintain cash flow. All I'm saying is that if Metro PCS was to some how gather a relationship with Apple, Blackberry, or any of the top phone manufacturers today, and allow that same very low monthly price then its competitors better watch out!

New Baruch Alliance

So for those of you who have followed the blog you may know that I have been running for a position on the student government, in Baruch College. New Baruch Alliance, or N.B.A. for short,the student government group I'm campaigning with, and myself have been putting a lot of hard work and effort into getting people to vote. Needless to say, all that hard work paid off. New Baruch Alliance has won the election, and I am now a part of the student government. My job as Student Media Council will allow me to have a say in the Media of the school, and i cant wait to start.

LX for 2009

Sidekicks never seem to go completely out of style. I don't own anymore but when i did, i was very satisfied with everything it had to offer. The last one i had was the 3 and i was addicted to the phone itself and AIM. This one comes with applications such as facebook and myspace, which is pretty popular in the phone world today. A 3.2 mp camera with auto focus only makes things better. Look for this to hit stores mid May.

Hype Williams and Kanye team up again for the making of 'So Amazing' (one of my favorite songs on the album).He's worked with everyone in the industry from Busta Rhymes to Hoobastank. Bottom line is, you go to him if you want the best work done. His creativity level is abnormal. This video isn't done yet but here are some pictures to let you know what you will see when it does premier. It will indeed be something out of this world...

New Colorway

It's only right that i post this up since we have showed you almost all the colorways that will be released. The release of the zen grey colorway was very successful. I missed out =/. These look like they should be Nike Sports Wear exclusives. There's no word on these yet, but i hope they come out in August sometime...

Chrysler steps it up a notch, putting a new twist on its Jeep Grand Cherokee for 2011. In dash navigations are more than popular in the car world today. It's about time Cherokee comes with something different? Don't you agree?

Now on to the "big boy". The 2010 Range Rover gets a 12' dual view touchscreen. Your passenger can watch his or her favorite movie while the route to the nearest iHop is still viewable. - Don't forget about the 2009 Auto Show. Doors open up on Friday at the Javits Center... be there.

Baruch Live

At Baruch College every year there is a Baruch Live event that is put on by the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship club. Here all the best talent is displayed, and at the end there is a speaker who brings forth the word of God, in a humorous way. This year i was fortunate enough to not only be apart of this event, but was also asked to be the photographer. I had a lot of fun, and even got a few laughs when they played Baruch's version of American Idol (Baruchian Idol) where i played Randal Jackson. Hip hop, Rock, and Reggaeton kept the people entertained all night, especially when they collaborated. The room was packed, and stayed that way through the night. To reiterate the title Baruch was definitely Live.

Maine says "Talk about school spirit, lol. I thought Nell wanted to be a correctional officer or a security guard, haha. My dude is running for a spot on Baruchs student government..."
